Stones’ contract with Manchester City expired at the end of June 2026, making the 32-year-old a free agent. After attracting interest from several clubs — including Chelsea, Arsenal and Juventus — the centre-back has agreed terms. Stones has approved a two-year contract running until June 2028 (with no option for a further year) on a salary of around €4 million net per season. A medical in Milan is expected shortly.
